This news seems pretty consistent with the yearly trend we’ve seen with multiplayer modes for games like Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard being revealed in early September of their respective years. Tom Henderson, who’s been pretty intuitive about Call of Duty leaks in the past, stated that the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer would be revealed sometime in early September, and claims that it will be revealed in August are plainly false.
So far, we’ve only heard rumors that the first look at multiplayer might happen sometime in August, but one of the most trusted Call of Duty leakers to date stepped forward to claim that it’s certainly not the case this time! Multiplayer is supposed to be the main selling point for the Call of Duty Franchise, and it’s primarily what sells Activision and Infinity Ward’s beloved Call of Duty Franchise. If you didn’t know, the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the Remake, is getting closer and closer by the day, and we’re still thinking, “Where’s the Multiplayer?” Activision is yet to even talk about the Multiplayer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and screenshots or even a trailer for multiplayer are pretty much out of the question.
